Austin Home Prices Will Drop How Much?

The Austin housing market is in for a bit of a shock. As a buyer or a seller, I am going to inform you in this video of some tips to navigate this storm.  I want to discuss what the trend month over month in Austin Proper and surrounding areas are looking like.  I always read your thoughtful comments on my videos and Adam Lopez noted that “I think you're right about inventory keeping prices level in Austin. I expected prices to go down further but they're not. Lots of people comfortably locked into their 3% rates. For MSA I expect more price drops due to rates lowering demand and as you noted, inventory is higher in the MSA. If moving to Austin and buying a house was just a "fad" then I think we'd see prices falling much faster by now. But the fact remains, Austin is a damn cool place and it's still growing.”
