Check Out What's Coming to AUSTIN!
Big Holes, Big Dreams: Updates on My Turn 11 Car Condo + What’s Coming to COTA
Well, I hope this big hole in the ground isn’t a sign that my car condo is a money pit! Not that I think it is—but let’s be honest, it’s kind of funny that before we’ve even made progress above ground, we’ve already had to start digging. Welcome to construction!
In today’s update, I want to cover:
- What’s happening with my Turn 11 car condo build
- Why I invested in this space in the first place
- What’s coming to COTA (Circuit of the Americas)
- And how this all ties into the future of the YouTube channel and podcast content
Let’s dive in.
Why I Bought a Car Condo at Turn 11
This project has been in the works for a while. The Turn 11 Car Condos are located right next to COTA—home to some of the most exciting motorsport events in the country. As someone passionate about cars, content, and community, this was a no-brainer investment.
Not only is it a personal project, but it’s also going to serve as a hub for content creators, a podcast studio, and a social space for friends, clients, and collaborators. We’re even opening the studio up to real estate agents who want help creating video content.
The Build: Progress So Far
We're just getting started—but here’s what’s been done:
- The upstairs is framed out with a bathroom in place
- We selected finishes: walnut countertops, gray flooring, blue backsplash, and gray walls
- Glass railings are planned for the upstairs loft area
- A podcast studio is being built underneath the loft
Of course, there have been a few bumps. One of the priciest surprises so far? We had to dig into the concrete to fix a water line that was incorrectly placed. Welcome to commercial construction!
We’re about 2 weeks out from stairs being installed. As for full completion, we’re aiming for early September—hopefully just in time for the WEC (World Endurance Championship) race.
What’s Coming to COTA and Cotaland
The car condo is just part of a bigger picture. One of the reasons I chose this location is because COTA is booming. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming:
π’ Cotaland Theme Park
Still under construction, but progressing fast. The highlights include:
- PalenDrôme Coaster: A 95-foot, 51 mph ride that travels forward and backward—first of its kind in the U.S.
- 30+ rides planned across 20+ acres
- Circuit Breaker: First tilt coaster in the U.S.
- Sky Blazer: Texas’ only pendulum swing ride
- Texas Wildcat: The only Schwarzkopf coaster in the world
π― Expected to be ready by F1 2026.
Events You Don’t Want to Miss
π FIA WEC - Endurance Race
π
September 5–7 at COTA
This 6-hour endurance race is one of my favorites. F1 legends often join in, and the access is unmatched.
- Paddock Passes: ~$1,200 (includes food & drinks!)
- General Admission: ~$35–$50
I highly recommend this over traditional F1 if you want to get up close with the drivers.
ποΈ F1 US Grand Prix
π
October 2025
This year’s headliners? Garth Brooks and Kygo. General admission is worth it just for the concerts and the energy. I recently went to the Austrian Grand Prix—amazing, but nothing beats the Austin vibe with live music and afterparties.
The Car Condo as a Content Hub
Once complete, this condo will be more than just a hangout—it’ll be a fully outfitted content studio:
ποΈ Podcast Space
π₯ Filming Setup for Real Estate Agents
π Event Hosting for Clients and Friends
We're already planning a launch party during the WEC race weekend. If you're a past client or someone interested in this space, reach out!
