Elon Musk Set To Take Over Austin... and Texas!

If you’re looking to stay or leave the Austin area, I want to discuss some things that are going to affect either of these choices.  But first, let’s discuss Elon Musk.  It was just released that “Elon Musk joined Governor Greg Abbott to break ground at the site of the electric vehicle maker’s new lithium refinery in Corpus Christi on Monday.”  With this announcement, it will be VERY soon that Elon Musk will be the number one employer in Austin.  The reason why we are speaking about Elon is not just for the Tesla and lithium plant.  There is now talk of him moving Twitter from the San Francisco area to Austin.  Over the last 6 years, Austin has been a tech hub, but there have been a lot of Tech sector lay offs in the last 6 months.
