Renting is Better Than Buying in 2023?
The reality of 2023 is that it is a great time to be a seller right now. We are as close to the peak as we are going to be for the last half of the year. The 3% interest rate is WELL in our rear view. We will not see those types of rates return for a very long time. However, many people moving to Austin are still choosing to rent first. So, this will affect the market in the upcoming year. Short-term, it may be cheaper to rent in Austin, but overall and long-term, it is not.
