Serious Home Seller Trouble in 2023! Buyers Rejoice

If you're buying or selling in 2023, let's look at what you will be experiencing. 

We are currently seeing a 50% decline in sales. All of the extra inventory has snuck up on us pretty quickly. Some of the multitude of reasons is the climb in interest rates, builders behind on completing homes and Sellers entering the market too late. 

We are currently seeing a lot of Sellers "De-List" their homes for the holidays but are planning to relist in the Spring.  For this reason, 2023 is looking up and we will see a better market come Spring. Yes, lay offs are still happening but this doesn't make up for all the companies still planing on making Austin their futre home. This will continue to create an increase in buyers.
